Iconic Pole House transformation by a home electrician in Fairhaven

As a home electrician in Fairhaven, Clements Electrics completed the electrical refurbishment of the iconic Pole House along the Great Ocean Road. Completed in July 2026 over a two-week period, the project focused on modernising the home’s electrical services while preserving the character and architectural significance of this distinctive coastal property.

The residential electrical refurbishment included new lighting throughout the home, energy-efficient LED strip feature lighting, upgraded electrical services for air conditioning, and new exhaust and ventilation systems. Each element needed to work with the Pole House’s distinctive architecture while providing the functionality expected of a modern coastal home.

Feature lighting and electrical upgrades for an iconic Fairhaven home

Lighting installation was an important component of the refurbishment. Energy-efficient LED strip lighting was carefully integrated into the home to highlight key architectural elements without detracting from the design. The warm feature lighting complements the timber finishes and creates subtle illumination throughout the interior.

The project also involved upgrading the electrical services required for the home’s air conditioning, along with the installation of new exhaust and ventilation systems. These improvements were designed to enhance comfort and functionality while maintaining a clean, contemporary finish.

Working on an architecturally distinctive property required careful planning and precise workmanship. Each electrical installation needed to complement the existing design rather than compete with it. The completed system combines efficient lighting and climate control with electrical solutions suited to modern coastal living.

This Fairhaven project showcases Clements Electrics’ experience in architectural home renovations, residential electrical refurbishments, feature lighting installation, LED lighting, air conditioning electrical installations, exhaust and ventilation systems, and premium electrical solutions for homes along the Great Ocean Road.
